Mr. Mingjie Wu is the Vice President of Processes, IT and Data at Shenzhen Hepalink Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. (or “Hepalink”) where he leads the company’s global digital operations, building and optimization of the company’s global business process management system, process design and IT strategies, and the management of the company’s IT and cyber security infrastructure.

Mr. Wu has over 20 years of experience in process management and the design of IT and data solutions.

Before joining Hepalink, Mr. Wu served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Utrust Fintech Group and Billions Finance. While at Utrust Fintech Group, Mr. Wu oversaw its digitalization strategic planning, development, and operations.  He led successful digital transformation initiatives in numerous business areas including a standardized risk management system, mobile APPs enabling credit sales and online services, blockchain-based platform of electronic letters of guarantee, and an equity investment management system. While at Billions Finance, Mr. Wu made significant contributions to the company’s rapid growth and transformation through the design and implementation of a corporate-wide digital strategies. Mr. Wu’s responsibilities at Billions Finance included designing and implementing an integrated system for the company’s lending business, a big data-based risk management platform and an online store, serving over 20 million end users.

In 2015, Mr. Wu joined Vanke Property Management as Chief Information Technology Officer. In that position, he was responsible for the design and building of the company’s digital services platform, an intelligent community platform, an internet of things (IOT) platform, and the design, development, and operation of the Live Here app that was used by tens millions of users. These projects were widely regarded as a model digitalization project within the industry.

From 1999 to 2015, Mr. Wu served in several positions at IBM including Global Executive Manager, Solutions Architect, Senior Management Consultant, and Senior Manager. In those positions, he delivered many successful projects in IT strategies and designs of corporate-wide infrastructures; the planning, design and implementation of IT solutions for global supply chain; and ERP systems. During this period, Mr. Wu accumulated deep expertise and experience in managing global digital transformation for multinational corporations.

Mr. Wu has an MBA degree from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, a Master of Engineering degree from Tsinghua University, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Kunming University of Technology and Science.
