(October 7, 2026, Shenzhen) In October, the global pharmaceutical industry’s attention once again converged on Milan. On October 6, CPHI Milan 2026 officially opened at Fiera Milano, bringing together pharmaceutical companies, professional institutions, and industry professionals from around the world to discuss cutting-edge developments and collaboration opportunities at the intersection of technology, products, manufacturing, and markets. Hepalink Pharmaceutical, together with its wholly-owned subsidiary Techdow, exhibited at the event under the theme “Intelligent Lines. Global Care.”, presenting its integrated heparin industry chain, intelligent manufacturing of high-end injections, and international market operations.

A decade ago, Techdow, a Hepalink company, entered the European market with its enoxaparin sodium injections, embarking on a long-term and solid internationalization journey. Ten years later, Hepalink returns to Europe with finished dosage products approved in 81 countries and regions worldwide, as well as its intelligent manufacturing project recently recognized by the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Facility of the Year Awards (FOYA). From a single product to an increasingly refined system encompassing manufacturing, registration, supply, and market operations, Hepalink’s footprint in the global market continues to expand, giving this year’s CPHI an added sense of both reflection and forward momentum.
During the exhibition, customers and partners from Europe and other international markets visited the booths of Hepalink and Techdow to exchange views on the supply, manufacturing capabilities, product registration, and market collaboration for heparin APIs, enoxaparin sodium APIs and injections. On-site discussions extended from manufacturing to market access and long-term operations across different markets, covering multiple segments of the integrated heparin industry chain, thereby forging more concrete connections between manufacturing capabilities and real global market demand.
In April this year, the ISPE Facility of the Year Awards (FOYA) were announced in Europe, and Hepalink Pingshan New Pre-filled Syringe Manufacturing Facility won the Innovation – Novel Technology category award, becoming the only project from China among this year’s winners. This intelligent manufacturing facility, with an additional annual capacity of 330 million units, brings AI-powered intelligent inspection, 5G MEC (5G Multi-access Edge Computing), digital twin technology, and a highly automated production and logistics system into large-scale finished dosage manufacturing. Among these, a 24-meter-high automated stereoscopic warehouse enables efficient material storage and transfer, while AI-powered intelligent inspection achieves a speed of 24,000 units per hour; 5G MEC allows data to be processed rapidly near the production areas, supporting low-latency, high-efficiency real-time coordination among equipment; the digital twin establishes a synchronously mapped “digital world” for the physical production facility, enabling real-time perception, simulation, and continuous optimization of the production process; multiple technologies are deeply integrated within the same manufacturing system, providing support for the stable and efficient operation of large-scale aseptic finished dosage manufacturing.
During this CPHI, the FOYA-winning project was presented to international customers, partners, and visitors. How to truly integrate automation, digitalization, and AI into large-scale pharmaceutical production, and how to support quality, efficiency, and stable supply with higher-level manufacturing capabilities, became important topics of on-site exchange. For Hepalink, these innovations already implemented on the production frontline allow Chinese pharmaceutical intelligent manufacturing to enter the global industry’s field of vision with a more concrete and more mature image.

Taking a step forward from manufacturing, attention naturally extends to the market side. As the core entity carrying Hepalink’s enoxaparin sodium API and injection business, Techdow has continuously advanced the R&D, manufacturing, registration, and commercialization of related products since its establishment in 2004. Currently, finished dosage products including Prolongin®, Inhixa®, and Neoparin® have been approved in 81 countries and regions worldwide, benefiting patients in more than 50 countries and regions.
Europe is a highly representative market in this internationalization journey. In 2016, Inhixa® became the first enoxaparin sodium injection biosimilar approved by the European Medicines Agency. Since then, Techdow’s enoxaparin sodium injections have successively entered European markets including the UK, Italy, Germany, and Spain, with a continuously expanding business footprint. As of June 2026, cumulative sales of this product in Europe reached nearly 900 million units. Over the past decade, from product approval and market entry to the continuous establishment of market access, stable supply, local operations, and professional support capabilities, Hepalink’s understanding of the European market has continued to deepen. Behind the continuously growing sales figures is a process in which the quality system, supply capabilities, and market operations have withstood long-term scrutiny, as well as a process in which Chinese finished dosage forms have continued to take root in a mature pharmaceutical market. Ten years in Europe has become an important milestone in Hepalink’s globalization process. As products continue to enter more countries and regions, this accumulation continues to grow in broader markets. At the exhibition site, a customer representative from the United States also spoke about the experience of long-term collaboration with Techdow. In their view, the coordination and cooperation between the two sides has been “excellent,” and even in the face of a highly competitive market, they are able to jointly address challenges and seize new tender opportunities. They also stated that the Techdow team always maintains close collaboration with partners, helping them understand the market, and making every effort to ensure products benefit patients. The tacit understanding and trust formed through long-term cooperation have accompanied both sides through market changes.

This year’s booth features the “HepaOrca” orca visual theme, showcasing Hepalink’s open, collaborative, and globally-oriented brand character. The booth adopts an open and transparent spatial structure overall, with blue-green brand visuals running throughout. While reinforcing a sense of professionalism and internationalism, it integrates core products, intelligent manufacturing scenarios, and European market footprints into the overall presentation. The orca’s traits of excelling in collaboration and persevering with resilience resonate with Hepalink’s brand expression of long-term cultivation in global markets, adding a distinctive and coherent visual thread to the booth.

The FOYA-winning project, ten years of European commercialization, and a continuously expanding global market footprint... together these have consolidated into the confidence with which Hepalink participates in international industrial cooperation, and also reflect the increasingly composed and confident posture of Chinese pharmaceutical companies as they go global. In the future, Hepalink Pharmaceutical will continue to enhance its industrialization and commercialization capabilities, and with reliable quality, stable supply, and continuous innovation, drive more high-quality medicines and services into global markets, benefiting more patients.
